Job Vacancy: Business Development Officer


A Facilities Management Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Business Development Officer to join its team in Baghdad, Iraq. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the growth and expansion of the company’s services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the facilities management sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to support business growth.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services.
  • Support strategic planning and contribute to achieving company targets.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities and outcomes.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations, preferably within facilities management or service industries.
  • Preferred: A minimum of two years of proven experience in the Facilities Management (FM) field.
  • Strong knowledge of market research, sales strategies, and client management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
