Job Purpose




The role ensures compliance with safety standards, reliability of operations, and optimal performance of electrical assets. The Advisor works closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to plan, execute, and audit maintenance activities.




Responsibilities:





  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and diagnostic support for electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, motors, MCCs, relays, UPS, and power distribution networks.

  • Review, validate, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

  • Ensure adherence to OEM recommendations, engineering standards, and industry best practices.

  • Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and recurrent issues.

  • Recommend equipment upgrades, refurbishments, and modernization plans.

  • Monitor asset health and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.

  • Support execution of shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance campaigns.

  • Review engineering documents, drawings, work packs, and method statements.

  • Provide on-site supervision to ensure quality and compliance during critical electrical works.

  • 15+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within the oil & gas industry.
