As a Field Specialist, you will be a vital member of the Completions and Well Interventions team, as this role will be responsible for directly supervising the installations of wellbore construction equipment.
As a Field Specialist - Wellbore Construction, you will be responsible for:
Running multiple medium to high risk applications in one or more product lines in the Wellbore Construction Product Group
Expanding and applying application knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Wellbore Construction and Liner Hanger
Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for the job.
Providing front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of the job.
Conducting on-the-job training for some Wellbore Construction applications as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Wellbore Construction, specifically in liner hanger
Be able to work varied work schedule and be available for a 24 hour call out as necessary
Be willing and able to ensure competency is kept up to date and achieve new ones within allocated period of time
Have effective computer skills with competence in basic Microsoft Office programs suite
Have thorough knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations
