About the Company

A leading company in Iraq specializes in the distribution of international brands, operating across retail and wholesale channels nationwide. 

The company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function and support business expansion.

Position Objective

To lead and manage the full HR function, ensuring alignment between people strategy and business objectives, while establishing strong HR policies, systems, and performance culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company goals.
  • Lead recruitment and headcount planning for retail, wholesale, and head office functions.
  • Oversee performance management systems, KPIs, and appraisal cycles.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and internal investigations when required.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance systems, and HR records.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to build leadership and functional capabilities.
  • Build and maintain a professional workplace culture.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor law, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
