The Senior Cost Control – Manufacturing role focuses on controlling, analyzing, and optimizing all production-related costs to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support profitability across manufacturing operations.
Pension Plan Paid Time Off Training & Development Monitor and control manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, utilities, overhead, and production losses.
Develop and maintain standard costing systems aligned with manufacturing processes and BOM structures.
Perform detailed cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and report deviations to management.
Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams to identify cost optimization opportunities.
Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts for manufacturing operations.
Analyze production efficiency, yield, scrap, and waste, providing recommendations for cost reduction.
Participate in new product costing, pricing support, and feasibility studies.
Ensure accurate cost allocation across production lines, departments, and products.
Prepare detailed cost control reports and dashboards for senior management.
Support audits and ensure compliance with internal cost control policies.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in cost control or cost accounting within manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, standard costing, and cost analysis techniques.
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience is mandatory.
High analytical capability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
