ey Responsibilities
1- Production Management
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in coordination with Sales and Warehouse departments.
Manage production orders across injection molding and IML production lines.
Monitor actual production results against targets and analyze performance gaps.
Ensure the availability of raw materials, labels, molds, packaging materials, and required manpower.
Supervise machine setup, mold changes, robot settings, color changes, and product changeovers.
Monitor production output, cycle time, rejection rate, waste, and downtime.
Ensure that finished products comply with approved specifications and samples.
Improve machine and workforce productivity and reduce mold-change time.
Coordinate with Quality Control to address non-conforming products and prevent recurrence.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
2- Maintenance Management
Develop and implement preventive, periodic, and predictive maintenance plans.
Supervise the maintenance of injection molding machines, IML robots, molds, compressors, chillers, and auxiliary equipment.
Ensure quick diagnosis and repair of emergency breakdowns.
Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
Monitor equipment downtime and maintenance performance indicators.
Maintain complete maintenance records for each machine, mold, and piece of equipment.
Identify critical spare parts and ensure appropriate inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and external technicians when required.
Inspect completed maintenance work and confirm that equipment is safe and ready for operation.
3- Operational Improvement
Improve the plant’s Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Reduce raw-material waste and the consumption of electricity, compressed air, and cooling water.
Analyze rejected products and production losses and implement improvement plans.
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Lead continuous-improvement and production-capacity projects.
Participate in the evaluation and procurement of new machinery, molds, and equipment.
Prepare production and maintenance budgets and control operational costs.
Ensure the proper use and protection of company assets and equipment.
4- Team Management
Lead production and maintenance engineers, supervisors, technicians, operators, and workers.
Prepare shift schedules and assign duties according to operational requirements.
Evaluate employee performance and identify training requirements.
Train employees on proper operation, troubleshooting, quality, and safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with attendance, discipline, and company policies.
Promote effective coordination between Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams.
5- Quality and Safety
Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements for IML products.
Prevent the use of unapproved materials, labels, molds, or production parameters.
Ensure first-piece inspection is completed after startup, mold changes, or material changes.
Enforce occupational health and safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.
Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed during maintenance activities.
Investigate incidents and operational risks and implement preventive measures.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized production and maintenance areas.
Desired Candidate Profile
At least seven years of experience in industrial operations or production, including three years in a supervisory or managerial position.
