· Applying and following the client contractual QHSE obligations, PSGS’s QHSE policy and procedures.
- Maintaining the integrity of the ISO Management Documentation System and standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, & ISO 45000.
- Recording production of operational data on specified forms
- Training and supervising junior staff, leading the team to ensure the company service standards are upheld and maintained at all times
- Ensuring safety training and proper usage of equipment’s and premises is given to junior and untrained staff
- Enforcing strict compliance to personal hygiene and dress code for all dining room staff
- Preparing staff rosters, ensuring adequate staffing of the dining room at all times
- Able to explain the various menu dishes prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
- Working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure excellent service is provided to all clients and take action to correct any problems
- Preparing daily requisition for procurement of all food and beverage related items required for the dining room from the stores
- Checking the quantity and quality of received products
- Leading the team positively for the development of the enterprise
- Implementing food safety and HACCP compliance recording production on specified forms
- Monitoring the total cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant and equipment's throughout and after service, checking that the cleaning schedules are being adhered to before signing off
- Act as a food safety team member
- Performing other duties as directed
Skills
- Catering Service Food production training or Government Hotel and Tourism Associate Certification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in the same position, working in high volume catering.
- Computer literate and fluent in English; Arabic is an added value
