The Technical Advisor is responsible for ensuring vehicle quality, identifying and addressing defects, providing technical guidance and support, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement, training and development, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet Lexus quality standards and specifications. Document and report any defects, damages, or imperfections found during inspections, providing detailed feedback to relevant departments for corrective action. Collaborate closely with service technicians and mechanics to address and rectify identified issues promptly, offering technical guidance and support as needed. Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles to ensure they are ready for customer delivery, providing feedback to the sales team on any outstanding issues. Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with Lexus quality assurance guidelines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures. Serve as a technical resource for dealership staff, providing guidance on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair procedures for Lexus vehicles. Stay updated on the latest technical information, recalls, and service bulletins issued by Toyota, and ensure that dealership staff are trained and informed accordingly. Assist in training new employees on quality control processes, inspection techniques, and technical procedures. Communicate effectively with sales, service, and administrative staff to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
