SAS is seeking a PR & Government Relations Officer with a strong ability to build and manage relationships with government entities and high-level stakeholders. This role has a direct impact on sales and business growth by strengthening institutional trust and positioning the company as a reliable technology partner in government and digital transformation projects.
The role focuses on converting institutional relationships into real business opportunities and projects through official representation of the company, continuous follow-up with government entities, and paving the way for sales and business development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and develop strategic relationships with ministries, government authorities, and public institutions to support business opportunities. Support sales and business development teams by opening communication channels with government entities and decision-makers. Maintain existing relationships and convert them into cooperation opportunities, contracts, or joint projects. Represent SAS in official meetings, presentations, conferences, and business-oriented institutional events. Contribute to facilitating access to government tenders, direct invitations, and contracting opportunities. Prepare and follow up on official correspondence supporting technical and commercial proposals. Strengthen the company’s corporate image to enhance trust and support purchasing decisions within government entities. Build relationships with senior leadership, advisors, and project managers in target organizations. Identify government opportunities and national initiatives relevant to the company’s solutions and services. Support deal closure through high-level institutional engagement and pre-sales activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, business administration, media, or a related field.1–2 years of experience in public relations, government relations, or B2G sales support. Good understanding of government sales cycles, contracting mechanisms, and tenders. Strong communication and negotiation skills with various management levels. Ability to work closely with sales and business development teams. Proficiency in preparing official correspondence and company presentations. Professional, confident, and presentable personality. Fluency in Arabic and English
