Roles & Responsibilities
Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Microwave network operations, Manage teams, vendors, & sub-contractors, and budgets ensuring that due diligence and optimal risk mitigation is achieved as well as the maximum quality and peak performance and reliability of all Microwave networks, Under close supervising the day-to-day operations for the Technical Operations and managed service supplier teams to ensure all type of service disruptions, and uphold corporate's quality standards in support of the business goal.
1. Providing leadership and mentorship to the TMO team, Under close supervising the day-to-day operations for the Technical Operations team, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
2. Manage and optimize Microwave Networks (Multi vendor), Ensure customer incidents and outages assigned are successfully and quickly resolved, diffused, or escalated
3. Coordinate Microwave & SDH maintenance and change related activities in cooperation with the MS vendor, on-ground teams, and organize scheduled and planned CR routines.
4. Controlling and managing operations project budgets to ensure financial efficiency. And drive business case creation, revenue modelling, and CAPEX/OPEX projections for variant tasks and projects.
5. Liaise with Procurement, engineering, legal, and financial audit teams to ensure end-to-end solution readiness and compliance, Lead multi-vendor frameworks and negotiations, project delivery assurance, and technical compliance.
6. Actively adhere to the Code of policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest standards are maintained,. Provide leadership in all fiber technical issues; ensure employees are aware of business compliance requirements.
7. Drive the vendor management for the designated vendor group mainly on the Huawei Managed service models, monitor performance, develop relationships with key contacts (internally and externally) and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders
8. Governing & maintain existing databases, files, and records for purposes of network design, fiber optimization, and relocation of fiber facilities.
9. Develop and maintain vendor management scorecards & risk plans for the designated vendor group as per procedure.
10. Collaborate with engineering teams to plan the expansion, upgrade, and optimization of the Microwave network (Mainly Huawei and Nokia MW).
11. Manage deployment vendors/contractors deliverables and assist with quality assurance and Conduct a certification testing of the new links and equipment, accurately document measurements and placement,
12. Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate network capacity, and identify areas for network improvement.
13. Performing a routine network checks periodically, Testing signal strength across all elements of the network, Ensure maximum quality and peak performance and reliability of all fiber optic equipment, Report all testing documentation to the direct supervisor.
- Bachelor degree (Telecommunication Engineering/Information Engineering/Network Engineering/ Electrical Engineering)
- Deep understanding of Operational Technology (OT) systems
- CCNA & PMP or similar certificate will be a big added value
- Microsoft Office Programs (Mainly Excel, PowerPont, & VISIO)
- GIS Systems (Google Earth (.kmz), MS Streets & Trips, MapInfo)
