TAR E&I Coordinator
Scope of Responsibilities
Responsible for the co-ordination of all E&I TAR activities and related scope of works from start to finish including mob and demob from worksite and inventory management.
Demonstrate high knowledge of all procedures and ensuring their implementation in a safe and efficient manner for the team.
Provides input into the coordination of all operational issues such as shutdown and start up preparation and schedules.
Mentoring of Local National Iraqi staff in routine duties and responsibilities to facilitate the re-nationalization of oil and gas production.
Primary Duties- Support the TAR Team and the TAR Manager that you are seconded to.

- Liaise with Ops, Maintenance and Engineering Teams for all TAR activities including scope definition
- Coordinate all construction and commissioning TAR scope for the E&I disciplines
- Review work packs and modify where necessary.
- Assist the team for subcontract tendering process for the identification and selection of subcontractors.
- Provide weekly reports to Management
- Share return of experience and lessons learned to improve downtime
- Perform site visit with relevant parties to ensure full implementation of work packs including survey and assistance to construction teams.
- Ensure coordination with the material coordinator for identification and availability of critical spare parts.
- Identify SIMOPS issues and coordinate with the team
- Provide inputs for the schedule, identify the critical path and own the scope delivery related to E&I activities.
- Estimate resource and materials required to execute the scope of work
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors have capability and qualification to deliver the assigned scope of work
- Understand the concept of integrated construction preparation
- Ensure criticality based Qa/Qc checks are in place for the scope of work
- Identify threats to project delivery and implement mitigation measures.
Minimum Job Requirement- 10+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas projects in SIMOPS environment
- 5+ years’ experience in TAR environment
- Degree or Diploma (HND) in relevant technical discipline.
- Work to the highest personal & professional standards to achieve or exceed set objectives.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Foster good relationships and team working ethic with sub-contract teams to promote safe working practices and efficiency.
- Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of instrumentation discipline especially loop checks, instrument calibration, C&E testing.
- Have performed instrumentation system upgrades including transition from pneumatic to electronic instrumentation
- Have performed ICSS upgrades including interface communication between existing and new systems. (familiar with Emerson, Rockwell and ABB)
- Understanding and execution of UPS System and associated upgrades
- Understanding and execution of Low Voltage Electrical Switchboard and Distribution board including procurement, installation, precommissioning, commissioning and startup.
