These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.</p> <h4>Responsibilities:</h4> <p><strong>Day to day delivery of process engineering support for site operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver safe and effective operations by managing risks, addressing queries and minor modifications activities</li> <li>Collaborate with central engineering team to identify and define engineering solutions to reduce risk and grow installed production capacity</li> <li>Promote a culture of open safety reporting and continuous improvement</li> <li>Provide immediate front-line support for operations and maintenance teams to resolve minor issues and escalate more significant issues to the central engineering team</li> <li>Ensure asset process engineering risks are understood, controlled, managed and reduced</li> <li>Participate in a variety of asset and project risk assessments</li> <li>Monitor health of process equipment and associated operating envelopes, recording and investigating all safe operating limit excursions</li> <li>Monitor process KPIs and initiate corrective actions as necessary</li> <li>Provide process support to technical MoCs and engineering queries</li> <li>Act as technical interface with projects and modifications organization, including development of statement of requirements (SOR) and project initiation requests (PIRs) and decision support packages (DSP)</li> <li>Support delivery of production efficiency improvement and defect elimination processes (including simple investigations for deferrals and vulnerabilities)</li> <li>Identify production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecast and grow IPC</li> <li>Technical custodian of critical site drawings and registers (P&IDs, PFDs, LVR)</li> <li>Maintain and use Hysys model to optimise production</li> <li>Perform follow-up actions and observations from self-verification checks that are related to process engineering e.g. relief system, locked valves, MOC compliance</li> <li>Participate in start up readiness and assurance reviews</li> <li>Provide coaching to junior engineers</li> </ul> <h4>Experience, qualifications & key skills:</h4> <ul> <li>Above 8+ years experience in O&G industry (preferable with IOC's direct or contract)</li> <li>Professional (Chartered) engineer preferred</li> <li>Technical degree in chemical engineering or allied engineering subject</li> <li>Experience in previous asset engineering/operations engineering role</li> <li>Practical exposure to production facilities</li> <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills</li> <li>Strong bias for being proactive and getting results</li> <li>Excellent IT skills - Office suite, document management, applications for CMMS and change management</li> <li>Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results</li> <li>Skilled in behavior change management</li> </ul> <h4>Preferred qualifications:</h4> <ul> <li>Certified professional engineer</li> </ul> <p><strong>Belong.
