We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer (Sourcing Officer) to join our dynamic team in the Facilities & Property Management industry in Basra, Iraq. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that our organization acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This position requires a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation. Responsibilities:

  2. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and reliability.
  3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  4. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and delivery tracking.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide effective solutions.
  6. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues to maintain a high level of service and quality.
  7. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations on procurement metrics and supplier performance for management review.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes.
  10. Participate in cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and projects.

  1. Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within the facilities and property management sector.
