Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head Engineer. The role is based in Baghdad with the flexibility for some work from home. The Head Engineer will oversee and manage engineering operations, lead project planning and execution, and ensure the implementation of technical solutions and compliance with all safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, staying updated with advancements in the electrical engineering field, and providing strategic input for infrastructure development and maintenance projects.
Qualifications Strong expertise in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, and Infrastructure Development Proven experience in Project Management, Team Leadership, and Strategic Planning Knowledge of Safety Regulations, Compliance Standards, and Risk Assessment Proficiency in CAD software, Technical Reporting, and Analytical Skills Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree is preferred) Prior experience in a senior engineering or leadership position Familiarity with the energy sector, specifically electricity generation, transmission, and distribution
