Key Objectives:




The Lead Site Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling detailed site‑level project schedules, ensuring alignment between construction activities, resource deployment, and overall project milestones. This role collaborates closely with site teams, project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure work is planned effectively, risks are identified early, and the project remains on track.




Key Responsibilities:




Site Scheduling & Planning





  • Develop and maintain detailed site schedules (Level 5), integrating construction sequences, resources, and critical milestones using Primavera P6.

  • Track earned value, analyze schedule deviations, and evaluate impacts of scope changes on baseline schedules and S‑curves.

  • Analyze technical documents, drawings, and synoptics to identify risk areas and validate logical sequencing.


Project Monitoring & Control





  • Monitor site progress against planned milestones, identify schedule slippages, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure alignment of site execution schedule with internal planning standards and client requirements.

  • Participate in project controls activities, including schedule reviews, forecasting, and reporting to senior management.


Stakeholder Coordination





  • Collaborate with site teams, engineers, project managers, and contractors to gather real‑time data for schedule updates.

  • Communicate schedule reports and updates clearly to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Attend and support client progress meetings, ensuring proactive communication of issues, constraints, and resource needs.


Risk & Resource Management





  • Identify schedule risks, resource bottlenecks, and inter‑disciplinary dependencies affecting timelines.

  • Ensure deviations and potential slippages are flagged early and understood by senior management, with recommended planning solutions.

Expected:





  • Proven experience as a Site Planner or Construction Planner (minimum 15 years on industrial or infrastructure projects).

  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling techniques.

  • Ability to read construction drawings and understand interdependence between mechanical, electrical, piping, and civil activities.

  • Solid understanding of construction planning methodologies earned value, and schedule risk analysis.

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
