JOB TITLE

Section Manager - Bakery | MAF Retail | Hypermarket Baghdad
ROLE SUMMARY
The Section Manager -Bakery is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards of offered goods to attract customers in order to achieve the set sales targets. The role holder is also responsible for exceptional customer service is delivered within the section.
ROLE PROFILE

• Monitor and report competitor activities (prices, range, promotional activities etc.) to ensure competitive advantage
• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers to enforce the image of discount inside the section
• Oversee commercial policy agreed for the store pricing
• Oversee the products assortment in the section
• Provide inputs on the price image and freshness image
• Ensure proper stock management (stock value, control out of stock, orders and merchandise deliveries)
• Control orders and follow up on deliveries
• Enforce safety, health and security rules as per internal standards and external rules and regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Commerce or Finance
• 5 years of experience in Bakery and in Retail Business, 1+ year in an operations supervisory role
• Certificate in Food salety or Quality is a plus
• Good management skills
