Job objectives
Permit management:
Review and issue permit for all the types of work executed at site (electrical isolation, working at height, confined space entry)
Ensure permits are complete, accurate and approved by the customer before work begins
Maintain a centralized log of all active, pending and closed permits
Ensure proper management of the e-permit database
Risk control:
Ensure that risk assessments and method statements are attached and understood by the work team
Confirm that isolation procedures are properly executed and documented
Ensure the updates of shutdown and start up procedures as well as the electrical and mechanical lockout/tagout documents for the installation
Coordination and inspections:
Liaise with field team, HSE, and supplier teams to ensure safe work planning
Schedule and prioritize permits based on operational needs and safety considerations
Conduct field checks to ensure work is being performed in accordance with permit conditions
Stop work if unsafe practices are observed or if permit conditions are violated
Ensure that work is completed safely and the site is restored to its original condition
Report permit-related incidents, delays, or non-compliance

Expected:
2+ years as PTW coordinator/permit issuer in power/industrial environments with formal PTW
Technical diploma (electrical/mechanical/instrumentation) or equivalent
PTW system training (issuer/controller level) plus LOTO training
Familiarity with isolation procedures, shutdown/start-up and LOTO documentation control
Competent in e-permit systems, permit logs, and field verification/stop-work authority
Good reporting and documentation skills (Excel, shift handover logs)
Preferred:
Exposure to electrical/mechanical energy isolation and SIMOPS coordination
Experience in solar plants or power utility sites
