Role & Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Handle intercompany transactions and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for audits and financial reviews
- Maintain and update financial records using ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies or process improvements
- Work closely with international teams and stakeholders across different time zones
Desired Candidate Profile
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Prior experience with UAE/Dubai accounting systems and practices is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations
- Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) standards
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
- Exposure to UAE VAT regulations and compliance is an added advantage
- Ability to manage deadlines and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
