u>Job Purpose/u>
Content Development & Editorial
- Draft written content including press releases, internal announcements, leadership messages, event scripts, and project summaries.
- Translate materials between English and Arabic with attention to tone, technical accuracy, and audience relevance.
- Proofread all communications materials for grammar, style consistency, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with departments to develop compelling stories about key projects, field activities, and employee highlights.
- Maintain and update the communications plan in coordination with the Communications and Media Lead
Visual Content & Light Design
- Take photographs at key field events, operational milestones, and site visits, ensuring safety and brand compliance.
- Conduct basic editing of photos and simple video content using standard editing tools.
- Create basic graphic content using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe Creative Suite when needed (e.g., flyers, signage, certificates).
- Support preparation of visual materials for internal use, events, or presentations
Support & Collaboration
- Assist in updating digital platforms such as the intranet newsroom and digital signage content.
- Support communications-related logistics for events, campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Creative Design Coordinator and external contractors on complex visual/design needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Expected:
- Bachelor s degree in communications, Media, English, Translation, or a related field.
- 2 4 years of experience in a similar communications or editorial role.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong attention to detail, grammar, and message consistency.
- Ability to work with sensitive or technical content and make it accessible for wider audiences.
- Basic photography and photo-editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Familiarity with basic design principles and visual storytelling
- Prior experience working in oil & gas, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign is a plus.
- Understanding of corporate branding and internal communications standards
