Roles & Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Operation Manager, you undertake administrative management support services in the country. You assist in ensuring efficient and cost-effective administrative support services, providing guidance to administrative staff as well and supporting staff in office administrative assignments. Ensure the office s administrative operations and services are in compliance with the organization's administrative policy, procedures, rules and regulations.
Summary of key functions/accountabilities:
- Accurate interpretation and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
- Budget management
- Administrative support services, security and safety
- Procurement
- Asset and Property management
- Administrative transactions and contractual arrangements
- Staff learning and development
- Partnership, coordination and collaboration
Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary education is required.
- Work Experience: Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in Administration, Operations, Administrative or Clerical Work and any other related fields.
- Skills: Coordination, Analysis and Reporting, Technology Skills, Procurement and Contracts, Partnership and Collaboration, Leadership
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.
Desirables:
- Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
- Administrative Management, Budget Management, Project Management, Developing country experience, UN experience, Contractual Arrangements considered as desirables.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
