Duties and Responsibilities : Lead and oversee all branch activities, including operations, sales, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve the branch’s financial and operational targets.
Enhance customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
Monitor branch performance indicators and prepare periodic performance reports.
Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure accuracy in cash management, transaction processing, and record-keeping.
Promote cross-selling of banking products and services to achieve sales targets.
Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Coordinate with the Country Manager and other departments to implement business initiatives.
Apply internal controls to safeguard the bank’s assets and mitigate risks.
Skills: Strong knowledge of branch operations and retail banking services.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis and business development.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit requirements.
Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Ability to efficiently use core banking systems and digital platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Law, Public Administration, Financial Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking Sciences, Statistics, Banking Management, Investment and Resource Management, Financial and Accounting Control, or any related Field Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in banking, financial.
Professional certification in Banking Management (CBM) is preferred.
Specialized training in leadership, risk management, and compliance is considered an added advantage.
