Roles & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all branch activities, including operations, sales, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve the branch s financial and operational targets.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor branch performance indicators and prepare periodic performance reports.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure accuracy in cash management, transaction processing, and record-keeping.
- Promote cross-selling of banking products and services to achieve sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Country Manager and other departments to implement business initiatives.
- Apply internal controls to safeguard the bank s assets and mitigate risks.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of branch operations and retail banking services.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and business development.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to efficiently use core banking systems and digital platforms.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Law, Public Administration, Financial Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and Banking Sciences, Statistics, Banking Management, Investment and Resource Management, Financial and Accounting Control, or any related Field
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in banking, financial.
Professional certification in Banking Management (CBM) is preferred.
Specialized training in leadership, risk management, and compliance is considered an added advantage.
