Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location; Iraq, Kurdistan.

Estimated Salary: USD 4,500 per month + Housing + Transport + Medical Insurance + Annual Flight Home per annum + Bonus (discretionary, performance based) + Schooling Allowance/Discount (if on family status)



About the Opportunity

Would you be interested in working with one of our clients who are energy developers focusing on power generation & distribution in Iraq. They are seeking an Accountant Manager to join their team; this is a full-time role in Kurdistan.



Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reportingPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAPManage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-makingMonitor cash flow, capital expenditures, and cost allocations across exploration, production, and distribution activitiesCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, regulators, and stakeholdersAnalyze financial performance, providing insights on profitability, cost optimization, and risk management.
