Job Title: Mechanical Engineer / Inspector (Building Construction)

Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers / Inspectors with a strong background in building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems
- Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents
- Inspect installation of ducts, piping, equipment, and fittings
- Witness testing and commissioning of HVAC and MEP systems
- Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and documentation
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams for approvals
RequirementsRequirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in building construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection standards and procedures
- Experience in QA/QC and site inspection activities
- Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, BS, etc.)
- Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Strong reporting and communication skills
