Desired Candidate Profile
At least 5 years of progressive experience in Program Design and Development, Program Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), and Capacity Building.
Bachelor s degree in social sciences, international development, public policy, statistics, or any other relevant field. A Master s degree is preferable.
Demonstrated experience in designing MEAL systems, data collection, logframes, indicators, theories of change, and donor reporting frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in applying participatory and qualitative MEAL methodologies, including approaches such as Most Significant Change (MSC), outcome harvesting, storytelling, and community-centered learning and reflection methods.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Syrian context, including its social, political, and civil society dynamics.
Experience in working with donor-funded projects and familiarity with donor compliance and reporting requirements.
Good analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong organizational, coordination, and time management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
Ability to write high-quality analytical and donor reports in English is required.
Computer proficiency in word processing, PowerPoint, database, spreadsheet etc.
