Roles & Responsibilities


Who You Are:

Seeking a full-time professional in Iraq, supporting Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) Maintenance & Repair Support project. This position supports 24/7 aviation operations in a deployed environment and ensures safe, efficient, and compliant airfield operations while supporting mission-critical systems.

NOTE: This position is contingent upon award of work.

What You ll Do:

  • Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade airfield electrical distribution systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems supporting runway, taxiway, apron, and airfield operations.
  • Inspect and repair electrical panels, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, generators, and distribution equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers (Megger), and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform cable testing, continuity testing, grounding verification, and fault isolation activities.
  • Install, modify, and commission electrical circuits, conduits, wiring, and associated support equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, UFC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and applicable electrical safety standards.
  • Support airfield electrical inspections, operational readiness assessments, and mission support requirements.
  • Maintain maintenance records, inspection logs, work orders, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with Airfield Management, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Respond to emergency electrical outages and restore mission-critical systems within required response timelines.
  • Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all electrical safety procedures while working on energized systems.

What You ll Bring:

Required Qualifications
  • Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
  • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
  • Ability to perform essential job duties in a deployed environment.
Additional Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution systems, and industrial electrical maintenance practices.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation resistance testers.
  • Ability to work safely around energized electrical equipment and systems.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs as required.
  • Minimum 3 years electrical experience.
  • Must be a current licensed Master Electrician (Or) current certified Medium/High Voltage Electrician Technician. Valid certification is required.
  • Experience in airfield or industrial electrical systems preferred.
  • Experience maintaining electrical distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, and control systems.
  • Certificate from an accredited technical school, vocational training, military training, or apprenticeship in Electrical Systems is required.
  • Experience supporting aviation, military airfield, industrial, or deployed operations preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, fault isolation, and electrical repair skills.
