Situation in organization
The Reporting Engineer position is within the Project Control Organization of the project reporting to the Planning & Reporting Manager.
Job dimensions
The Reporting Engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project performance data to support decision-making and ensure transparency across all phases of the CSSP project. The role contributes to the timely and accurate delivery of internal and external reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including HSE and risk-related metrics.
In addition, the Reporting Engineer is responsible for supporting project digitalization and information management initiatives, ensuring the effective governance, quality, accessibility, and integration of project information across all participating organizations. The position oversees the Information Management Assistant function and promotes the efficient use of digital collaboration platforms, reporting systems, document management tools, and data-sharing solutions to enhance project execution and stakeholder alignment.
The role acts as a focal point between Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, HSE, Contractors, and Company stakeholders to ensure consistency, traceability, and reliability of project data and information throughout the project lifecycle.
Iraq Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) intends to provide treated seawater to the oil fields in southern Iraq (for injection). CSSP is composed of water pipelines which are part of Basra Oil Company (BOC) scope of work, and the Water Infrastructure Project (WIP), previously named STF (Seawater Treatment Facilities). The WIP will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr.
The major components of the WIP include seawater intake and outfall structures, material offloading facility, seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes, shipping pumps, a fuel gas pipeline, power generation, utilities and non-process.
The budget of the WIP is circa $3 billion.
The Reporting Engineer is expected to commence duties in the 3rd quarter of 2026 and will be based in Basra.
Activities
1- Reporting & Analysis
Collect and validate progress data from various project disciplines (engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, etc.).
Prepare and update weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including physical progress, productivity, and forecasted completion dates.
Support the Planning & Reporting Manager in preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure consistency and traceability of reporting documentation across all project phases.
2- HSE & Risk Reporting
Monitor and report HSE performance indicators (e.g., LTIs, TRIR, safety observations) in coordination with HSE teams.
Maintain and update HSE dashboards and integrate safety metrics into overall project reporting.
Assist in compiling and presenting periodic risk assessments and mitigation tracking.
3- Systems & Tools
Use reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project control systems to generate visualizations and reports.
Ensure data integrity and alignment between planning, cost control, and reporting systems.
4- Documentation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with TotalEnergies, BOC, and project standards for reporting procedures.
Support audits, reviews, and project evaluations by providing accurate and timely reporting documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments (Planning, Cost Control, Contracts, HSE) to ensure reporting accuracy.
5- Information Management & Digitalization
Lead project information management and digitalization activities.
Supervise the Information Management Assistant and oversee project information, data, and records management.
Ensure information quality, consistency, accessibility, and traceability across all project stakeholders.
Coordinate information exchange between Company and Contractors.
Support and optimize digital tools and platforms, including SharePoint, Power BI, and document management systems.
Develop and maintain project data repositories, dashboards, and reporting systems.
Context and environment
TotalEnergies is acting as contractor to BOC. After the completion of the project, the facilities will be handed over to BOC for operation.
Accountabilities
The Reporting Engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project performance data while ensuring effective information management and digital collaboration across the CSSP project. The role drives reporting excellence, supports project digitalization initiatives, supervises the Information Management Assistant, and ensures that project information is accurate, accessible, integrated, and available to support timely decision-making across all stakeholders.
Qualifications / Experience required
Degree in engineering, data analytics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project reporting within large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects.
Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
Proficiency in reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience in information management or project data management.
Understanding of data governance and information quality principles.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure environment.
Experience in engineering/construction commercial or contracts administration role.
Ability to listen to and understand the signals and queries from various interlocutors.
Languages: English is mandatory; knowledge of French and Arabic is a plus.

يسعى مشروع إمداد ماء البحر العادي في العراق (CSSP) إلى توفير مياه بحر معالجة للحقول النفطية في جنوب العراق (للحقن). يتكون CSSP من خطوط أنابيب مائية جزء من نطاق عمل شركة البصرة للنفط (BOC)، ومشروع البنية التحتية للمياه (WIP)، الذي كان يُسمّى سابقاً STF (مرافق معالجة مياه البحر). سيقع WIP على الجانب الغربي من خور الزبير، أعلى من ميناء أم قصر.
تشمل المكونات الرئيسية لـ WIP منشآت استيعاء وتصريف مياه البحر، منشأة تفريغ وتفريغ المواد، توضّح مياه البحر، والترشيح وإزالة الأكسجين، مضخات الشحن، خط أنابيب للغاز الوقود، توليد الطاقة، المرافق والعمليات غير الأساسية.
ميزانية WIP تقارب 3 مليارات دولار.
من المتوقع أن يبدأ مهندس التقارير مهامه في الربع الثالث من 2026 وسيكون مقره في البصرة.
الأنشطة
1- التقارير والتحليل
جمع والتحقق من بيانات التقدم من مختلف تخصصات المشروع (الهندسة، الشراء، البناء، الصحة والسلامة، إلخ).
إعداد وتحديث تقارير التقدم الأسبوعية/الشهرية ولوحات القيادة والملخصات التنفيذية.
متابعة وتقرير مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية (KPIs)، بما في ذلك التقدم الفعلي والإنتاجية وتواريخ الانتهاء المتوقعة.
دعم مدير التخطيط والتقارير في إعداد العروض التقديمية لأصحاب المصلحة الداخليين والخارجيين.
ضمان الاتساق وتتبع توثيق التقارير عبر جميع مراحل المشروع.
2- التقارير الصحية والسلامة والموارد
مراقبة وتقرير مؤشرات الأداء في الصحة والسلامة والبيئة بالتنسيق مع فرق HSE.
الحفاظ وتحديث لوحات معلومات الصحة والسلامة ودمج مقاييس السلامة في تقارير المشروع الشاملة.
المساعدة في إعداد وتقديم تقييمات المخاطر الدورية وتتبع التخفيف.
3- الأنظمة والأدوات
استخدام أدوات التقارير مثل Power BI وExcel وWord وPowerPoint وأنظمة مراقبة المشروع لإنتاج التصورات والتقارير.
ضمان تكامل البيانات وتوافقها بين التخطيط والرقابة على التكاليف وأنظمة التقارير.
4- المستندات والامتثال
التأكد من الامتثال لمعايير TotalEnergies وBOC والمشروع في إجراءات التقارير.
دعم عمليات التدقيق والمراجعات وتقييمات المشروع من خلال توفير تقارير دقيقة وفي الوقت المناسب.
التنسيق مع الإدارات الداخلية (التخطيط، السيطرة على التكاليف، العقود، الصحة والسلامة) لضمان دقة التقارير.
5- إدارة المعلومات والرقمنة
قيادة إدارة معلومات المشروع وأنشطة الرقمنة.
الإشراف على مساعد إدارة المعلومات والإشراف على معلومات المشروع والبيانات والسجلات والملفات.
ضمان جودة المعلومات واتساقها وسهول الوصول وتتبعها عبر جميع أصحاب المصلحة في المشروع.
تنسيق تبادل المعلومات بين الشركة والمقاولين.
دعم وتحسين الأدوات والمنصات الرقمية، بما في ذلك SharePoint وPower BI وأنظمة إدارة المستندات.
تطوير وصيانة مستودعات بيانات المشروع ولوحات القيادة وأنظمة التقارير.
سياق وبيئة العمل
تعمل TotalEnergies كمقاول لـ BOC. بعد إكمال المشروع، سيتم تسليم المنشآت إلى BOC للتشغيل.

المؤهلات / الخبرة المطلوبة
درجة في الهندسة أو تحليل البيانات أو مجال ذو صلة.
حد أدنى 5 سنوات من الخبرة في تقارير المشروع ضمن مشاريع صناعية كبرى أو نفط وغاز.
مهارات تحليلية وتصور للبيانات قوية.
إتقان في أدوات التقارير (Power BI وExcel وWord وPowerPoint، إلخ).
خبرة في إدارة المعلومات أو إدارة بيانات المشروع.
فهم لمبادئ حوكمة البيانات وجودة المعلومات.
مهارات تواصل وتنظيم جيدة.
القدرة على العمل في بيئة متعددة الثقافات وذات ضغط عالٍ.
خبرة في دور إداري تجاري أو عقود في الهندسة/البناء.
القدرة على الاستماع وفهم الإشارات والاستفسارات من مختلف المتحدثين.
اللغات: الإنجليزية إجبارية؛ معرفة الفرنسية والعربية زائد.
