We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Treatment Plant Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Basra, Iraq. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our water treatment facility, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining the highest standards of water quality. This role requires a strong understanding of water treatment processes, effective leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Water Treatment Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of operators, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing operational improvements to optimize plant performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the water treatment plant, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Monitor water quality parameters and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain compliance with local and national water quality standards.
3. Lead, train, and mentor a team of operators, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
4. Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and facilities, identifying maintenance needs and coordinating repairs with the maintenance team.
5. Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to enhance plant efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality testing results.
7. Manage inventory of chemicals and supplies required for water treatment processes, ensuring timely procurement and compliance with safety regulations.
8. Collaborate with environmental agencies and stakeholders to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
9. Participate in emergency response planning and training to ensure readiness for potential incidents affecting plant operations.
10. Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance overall plant performance.
