Job Purpose:
The Assistant Mobile Operations Manager (AMOM) is responsible for the allocation of APT tasks and the implementation of all security SOPs pertaining to mobile operations. Manages the day-to-day provision of mobile security support to the client and the effective response to incidents. This will involve the coordination of up to 35 mounted Armed Protection Teams (APT) along with supporting QRF and SAT. Ensures mobile operations are conducted in accordance with Iraqi government, client and CR directives and procedures.

Tasks and responsibilities
Departmental Responsibilities
- Reports to the CR ROO Mobile Operations Manager (MOM), with a functional line for day-to-day operations to the Client Security Operations Manager (ROOSMSM).
- Prepares the daily APT tasking sheet in co-ordination with the Client Security Operations Manager (ROOSMSM) and CR ROO Mobile Operations Manager.
- Ensures all journey management plans, security provisions and requirements in support of client operations are met on a daily and as-required basis.
- Ensures that operational situational awareness is maintained at all times through effective operations room procedures, communications and satellite tracking and intelligence analysis and dissemination.
- Supports Incident Management command and control within the SCCC, coordinates response between the SCCC, client Incident Management Team (IMT) and agencies.
Personnel Management
- Ensures all security rotation planning, general leave, sick/compassionate leave and administration arrangements are coordinated to best ensure contractual compliance.
- Ensures all training and personnel records are maintained for all APT personnel.
- Ensures any projected or actual manpower deficiencies are reported to the CR ROO PSM ASAP and coordinates temporary or permanent replacements as required.
Policy and Procedure
- Works with the MOM and PSM to implement security plans on behalf of the ROO.
- Ensures all incidents and near miss incidents are recorded and reported in accordance with client and CR-internal procedures.
- Reviews and advises on amendments to CR ROO operational SOPs.
Quality Management
- Oversees Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure mobile security operations both comply with contractual requirements and continue to meet best practices.
