Key Goal:

The Junior Internal Audit Officer supports the Internal Audit function by assisting in the execution of audit assignments, reviewing financial and operational processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. The role aims to help identify risks, strengthen internal controls, and promote operational efficiency while developing professional audit skills under the guidance of senior auditors and supervisors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed audit tests and procedures on financial and operational data.
• Review transactions, records, and reports to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist in performing risk assessments to identify operational or financial vulnerabilities.
• Review and test the effectiveness of internal controls across departments.
• Ensure compliance of policies and procedures are aligned with laws and regulations.
• Document audit findings and conclusions clearly and concisely.
• Track the implementation of audit recommendations and assist in follow-up.
• Any other assignment given by the supervisor.

Education & Experience & Language:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, Finance, or relevant certification.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic background are highly recommended to apply.
• Language: Arabic, Kurdish and English
