Our Client, a Leading Business Group having presence at Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Japan & Turkey is looking for Accounting Manager at their Baghdad Office. The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions within the organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies. This includes managing the accounting team, preparing financial reports, budgeting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data across the group’s diverse activities.
Reporting to: Finance Director / General Manager
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Manage and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and training. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits. Maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure financial alignment. Provide insights and recommendations for financial efficiency and risk mitigation.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Salary Budget : 3,000,000 - 4,000,000 IQD
