Job Summary:
The Telesales Specialist is responsible for generating sales through outbound and inbound telephone communication. The role focuses on identifying customer needs, presenting products or services effectively, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The position plays a key role in achieving revenue targets and supporting overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers
• Present and promote company products or services clearly and professionally
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets
• Accurately record customer information, interactions, and outcomes in the CRM system
• Handle customer objections and questions in a professional manner
• Follow up on leads and maintain a structured sales pipeline
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on offers and promotions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and management to improve sales performance
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage)
• Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a similar sales role preferred
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
• Results-driven mindset with strong negotiation skills
• Good listening and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer skills and experience using CRM systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
