Role Description:Guide Square is seeking an International Student Recruitment Manager to lead and manage the company’s Education & Student Services Department. This is a commission-based role with a 50% share of the department’s net profit, offering an entrepreneurial opportunity within an established company structure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the entire student recruitment division — including building partnerships with universities and international agencies, counseling students, and managing the full application and visa process. The role offers flexibility to work on-site in Erbil, remotely, or in a hybrid setup, depending on the candidate’s preference.
Responsibilities:Build strong partnerships with universities, colleges, and language schools worldwide. Identify, establish, and manage collaborations with international student recruitment agencies. Develop a comprehensive strategy for promoting study-abroad programs in Iraq and Kurdistan. Provide counseling and guidance to students regarding academic programs, destination choices, admissions requirements, and scholarship opportunities. Manage the full student application process, from initial inquiry to admission and visa support. Coordinate with internal visa, ticketing, and accommodation teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Represent Guide Square at education fairs, seminars, school visits, and online events. Prepare performance reports and oversee the operational growth of the Education Department. Drive marketing efforts in coordination with the media team to reach potential students. Ensure compliance with the admission policies and visa rules of each destination country.
Qualifications:Experience in international student recruitment, education consultancy, or related sectors is highly preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships. Knowledge of major study destinations (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, Asia). Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in Kurdish, English, and Arabic is required. Experience in sales, counseling, or client management is a plus.
Compensation:Commission-based role with a 50% share of net profit generated by the Education & Student Recruitment Department. Unlimited earning potential tied directly to performance and department growth. Flexible working model: office-based, work-from-home, or hybrid.
