Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chemistry Teacher at Hawler 2 Private High School located in Erbil. The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective and engaging chemistry lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Qualifications Strong knowledge and teaching experience in Chemistry Education in english. Expertise in Lesson Planning and effective implementation in a classroom setting Exemplary Communication and Teaching skills to engage and inspire students Patience, adaptability, and a passion for nurturing student learning Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) Previous experience teaching chemistry at the high school level is preferred Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff
