This role involves end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, contract administration, supplier evaluation, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Pension Plan Paid Time Off Training & Development Coordinate with the maintenance and technical teams to identify and confirm required quantities and specifications of materials and equipment.
Source qualified suppliers and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to a minimum of three vendors when applicable.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and shipping methods to ensure the best value for the company.
Compare supplier quotations, prepare Quotation Comparison Reports, and submit recommendations to the procurement team.
Finalize agreements with suppliers/sub-contractors and issue Purchase Orders (POs) or contracts in line with agreed terms and payment milestones.
Act as contract administrator throughout the project lifecycle until final delivery and closure.
Prepare procurement plans in coordination with project managers to ensure timely supply for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Monitor and update the Suppliers’ Master Data File regularly, ensuring all suppliers comply with the company’s Code of Conduct and procurement policies.
Maintain an organized and accessible filing system for RFQs, quotations, and all related procurement documentation.
Collaborate with Purchasing & Logistics teams to collect and assess feedback on supplier performance.
Evaluate supplier performance annually and submit Vendor Evaluation Reports to the Technical Procurement Team Leader.
Prepare and submit monthly reports summarizing procurement activities, RFQ status, and vendor performance.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or industrial procurement, preferably within the construction or maintenance sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components and materials is an advantage.
Solid understanding of procurement best practices and contract management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software/ERP systems.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
