Job Purpose



Responsible for managing and supporting the facility security infrastructure at field sites and camps. The supervisor leads and supervises the Support team and provide work direction and oversight to staff employees and contractors



Facility Security support team key responsibilities;



  • Manage all CCTVs, access control badge readers, Lenel OnGuard and network video recorder applications, thermal cameras and ground radars
  • Plan and implement facility security solutions

Responsibilities:



The Facility Security Support supervisor is responsible for the following;



  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for the multiple facility security locations and applications including Lenel Security Management System, Genetec, Gallagher, Traka, Vidsys, Visitor Management Systems, Bosch, etc.
  • Provide hardware support and troubleshoot issues for multiple CCTV, badge reader, card mgmt. systems including Bosch, Lenel, Apex, etc.
  • Involvement in all aspects of application and hardware support and project engagement activities including interfacing with clients, other company IT service providers, and the vendors
  • Engage with key interfaces and clients
  • Participate in forecasting and basic budget management skills

Expected:



Foundational Supervisor Skills



  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in an IT-related field (Required)
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge & experience in Facility Security Services in an Oil & Gas upstream industry (Preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with teamwork orientation
  • Excellent decision making, business judgement, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Able to initiate change and to implement new processes with the ability to motivate and provide leadership
  • Excellent analytical and comprehension of business needs, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and global, diverse-culture teams (Preferred)
  • Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.

Job Specific Skills



  • IT Facility Security Services experience (Required)
  • IT Operations Experience (Required)
  • Project Management Experience (Preferred)
  • Proficient in the ITIL framework and hands-on experience with ITIL processes
  • Sound foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, networks, telecoms and security systems
  • Should have good knowledge of Facility Security Services, including all related software and hardware.
