Role Purpose
Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire a Senior Analyst – Digital Platforms who is responsible for managing analytics tools, generating reports, and conducting analysis to provide actionable insights that support the performance and strategic goals of Zain IQ’s digital platforms. This role involves setting up and maintaining analytics frameworks, tracking key performance indicators, identifying trends, and delivering timely insights to the digital platforms team. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner, Experience Designer, Product Designer, and Quality Lead to ensure that data-driven decisions are integrated into product development, user experience enhancements, and quality improvements.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain digital analytics tools to track performance metrics across digital assets
Define key tracking parameters and ensure that all digital platforms are properly configured to capture user behavioral data
Maintain data integrity by validating and cleaning data to ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms
Create and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into platform performance and user behaviour
Ensure compatibility of tracking tools with product updates and technical changes
Develop custom reports based on business requirements from the Product Owner and other stakeholders
Distribute regular performance reports to track user behaviour
Deliver actionable insights based on data analysis to inform product development, design, and marketing strategies
Identify trends and anomalies in user behaviour and escalate issues to the relevant teams
Ensure reports are delivered on time and aligned with stakeholder expectations
Analyze customer behavior to identify friction points and recommend improvements to the Experience Designer and Product Designer
Provide data-driven recommendations to the Product Owner to enhance platform performance
Identify underperforming features and provide insights into user drop-offs and engagement gaps
Measure the impact of design and product changes based on user behavior and performance metrics
Create predictive models to anticipate future user behavior and inform long-term product strategies
Communicate insights in a clear and actionable format tailored to different stakeholder needs
Monitor platform performance on an ongoing basis to identify and resolve issues in real time
Set up alerts and monitoring systems to detect performance drops or technical issues
Coordinate with the Quality Lead to track post-launch performance and identify quality gaps
Support the Experience Designer by providing data on how user behavior is impacted by design changes
Ensure alignment between performance tracking and business objectives
Provide ongoing feedback to the development team to improve platform stability and performance
Work closely with the Product Owner to define reporting requirements and align insights with business goals
Support the Experience Designer by providing user behavior insights to refine the user journey and interface design
Collaborate with the Product Designer to validate product feature adoption and user engagement
Provide performance feedback to the Quality Lead to improve product reliability and test coverage
Ensure consistency in reporting and insights across different product teams
Education, Experience and Competencies
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital analytics, business analysis, or data management
Proven experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Experience collaborating with product, design, and quality teams to integrate insights into product development
Strong understanding of user behavior tracking, and web/mobile analytics
