Role Overview :

• The Deputy Manager Information Technology (IT) will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of IT application development and support for designated regions or projects. Additionally, this role entails managing IT budgets strategically to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining a high standard of service.

Job Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management

• Provide overall leadership for the IT applications team, including administrative functions, performance evaluations, and team management.

• Manage client (internal) and stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.

• Manage vendor relationships, including SLA management and vendor engagement.

Project and Budget Management

• Lead project management for IT and business initiatives, overseeing time, cost, and resource allocation.

• Communicate any project slippage or issues to stakeholders promptly.

• Prepare and track IT and project budgets.

• Implement and enforce IT governance policies.

Application and Product Development

• Ensure maximum application uptime by collaborating with IT stakeholders.

• Document application deployments and share key learnings with vendors and end-users for continuous improvement.

• Contribute to product development initiatives.

• Identify key issues and develop appropriate solutions.

Environment, Social & Governance

• Promote judicious use of natural resources.

• Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)

• Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.

• Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.

Qualification and Experience

Education

• Graduate/postgraduate degree in IT, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

• 2-5 years of progressive experience in Information Technology.

• Familiarity with Internet Technologies and online applications.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse business requirements and develop effective technology solutions.
