Nationality Requirement: Open to Jordanian Nationals in the GCC and globally, excluding those currently working in the Jordanian market

Experience Requirement: 20+ years of experience, preferably in the banking industry

Team Size: Managing a team of around 40 employees

Scope: Group Level (Not limited to Jordan)



Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Executive Manager - Human Resources Management will play a pivotal role in driving the HR strategy for the Bank at a Group level. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership position requires an experienced HR professional with a strategic mindset and strong leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 40 employees and will ensure that the HR function supports the organisations goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the Bank of Jordan. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team at a Group level.

  • Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent. Implement effective succession planning and career development programs.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner. Promote employee engagement and satisfaction.

  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems that drive high performance and accountability. Ensure that performance appraisals are conducted effectively and that feedback is used to drive continuous improvement.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure that compensation structures are fair, equitable, and aligned with the market.

  • Compliance: Ensure that HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across the Group's operating regions. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.

  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior management on key HR metrics and trends.

  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring that change is managed effectively and that employees are supported throughout the process.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion of that experience in the banking industry. Experience at a senior leadership level is required.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a large team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term HR plans that support the business objectives. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Cultural Awareness: Experience working in a multicultural environment and the ability to navigate complex cultural dynamics.

  • Educational Background: A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are a plus.
