Team Size: Managing a team of around 40 employees

Position Overview:
The Executive Manager - Human Resources Management will play a pivotal role in driving the HR strategy for the Bank at a Group level. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership position requires an experienced HR professional with a strategic mindset and strong leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 40 employees and will ensure that the HR function supports the organisations goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the Bank of Jordan. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team at a Group level.
Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent. Implement effective succession planning and career development programs.
Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner. Promote employee engagement and satisfaction.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems that drive high performance and accountability. Ensure that performance appraisals are conducted effectively and that feedback is used to drive continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure that compensation structures are fair, equitable, and aligned with the market.
Compliance: Ensure that HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across the Group's operating regions. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior management on key HR metrics and trends.
Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring that change is managed effectively and that employees are supported throughout the process.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion of that experience in the banking industry. Experience at a senior leadership level is required.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a large team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term HR plans that support the business objectives. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Cultural Awareness: Experience working in a multicultural environment and the ability to navigate complex cultural dynamics.
Educational Background: A relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are a plus.
