Founded in 2007, it is accredited by both the Federal Government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government, highlighting its esteemed educational standards. The Center for Energy and Natural Resources (CENR) at AUIS is a newly established center dedicated to advancing research, policy dialogue, and capacity building in the fields of energy and natural resources. CENR aims to support sustainable development through evidence-based research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and engagement with local, regional, and international stakeholders.
