Position: Backend Engineer (JSON Schema Developer) Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $40 - $42/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Analyze complex documents to identify and model structured data points. Design and implement robust JSON schemas with appropriate field types and structure. Define validation rules, constraints, and logical relationships within schemas. Develop API contracts to ensure seamless data integration across systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine data requirements and schema design. Document schema structures, field definitions, and usage guidelines clearly. Promote best practices in data modeling, architecture, and scalability.
Requirements Strong experience in data modeling, schema design, and JSON schema development. Expertise in creating deeply nested and scalable data structures. Strong understanding of validation logic, field typing, and schema constraints. Ability to translate unstructured data into structured models. Experience defining API contracts and data integration workflows. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
