Coordinate the overall implementation of the Pillar II portfolio, including monitoring the financial, logistical, administrative, and technical aspects of reparations and transitional justice projects, in accordance with IOM s policies, practices, global standards, and relevant grant agreements. <p>The post holder is responsible for the delivery of Aviation security training programs through courses and workshops, ensuring that all aviation security staff are well-trained and capable of performing their duties efficiently and safely. Additionally, ensuring that other airport workers and stakeholders receive requisite security training and briefings in accordance with mandated international security standards.
All training must be compliant with the Regulatory requirements of ICAO Document 8973 Aviation Security and the ICAA National Civil Aviation Security Training Program (NCASTP).
A solid knowledge of performance management tools, techniques, and utilizing ‘state of the art’ technology, is vital, along with the ability to forge relationships with peers and customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
a) Regulatory requirements: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all pertinent security regulations and standard operating procedures, the training requirements of the ICAO Document 8973 Security Manual and the ICAA National Civil Aviation Security Training Program (NCASTP).
b) Lesson Plans & Courses: Assist in the development, and then deliver comprehensive aviation security training programs, including lesson plans, exercises and instructional materials for all identified training courses – specifically the core regulated security courses for a Certified Security Officer (CSO), the supervisory and specialist courses for the experienced staff, and for
all airport staff the General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) and customer service courses. Create and conduct training sessions on aviation security protocols, procedures, and regulations.
c) Courses, Development & Delivery Security Oversight: Organize and prepare all courses to international standards, quality checked against stated learning objectives, then delivered in the national language of Iraq or, when require, in English. (Ensure all courses, lesson plans, examinations and power point presentations are written in Arabic and English).
d) Instructional Design: Apply instructional design methodologies to improve training effectiveness and job performance.
e) Examinations: Ensure that all courses and examinations are delivered to the standard, content and required level of knowledge; that examination results are properly evaluated & appropriate remedial action initiated where necessary.
f) Course Certification: Issue course certificates to successful candidates after course completion.
g) Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate records of all training activities, certifications, and employee progress and ensure that staff and training records are properly filed and secured in accordance with Training Manual procedures.
h) Methods: Deploy a wide variety of interactive and hands-on training methods, such as simulations and role playing, using visual exercises, varying incident scenarios, and tabletop exercises, to make learning more engaging & practical.
i) Workshops: Assist in organizing AvSec workshops and seminars to meet the practical aspects of training needs and staff development.
j) Mentorship & On-the-Job training: Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new staff, offering feedback and addressing areas of low performance.
k) Assess and evaluate trainees: Monitor and assess the progress of trainees, providing feedback and guidance to ensure they meet the required standards.
l) Maintain training materials: Update and maintain training materials to ensure they are current and effective.
m) Currency: Keep current with the latest developments, training trends and industry best practices in airport operations, security regulations, and training methodologies to ensure that the training syllabuses are current and effective.
n) Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with the Head of Security Training (HoSTNG) to ensure that training programs and courses meet organizational needs.</p><p>Education: ICAO AvSec Instructor or equivalent, Aviation Security Supervisor, Managing Safely (IOSH) or equivalent, Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an aviation training instructor role with domestic and/or international experience. experience of operating in post conflict & low infrastructure multicultural environments. Minimum of 5 years working within an airport and/or airline environment, at least 2 of those years as an AvSec Supervisor.
Computer Skills: Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite (user´s perspective) and able to manage other specific project / management software, provided the adequate training.
Language Skills (Eng., Arabic, other): Solid knowledge and command of written and spoken English (essential) and Arabic (essential).
Training Requirements: Ability to deliver training in Aviation & Protective Security in benign & post conflict environments.

<p>The post holder is responsible for the delivery of Ground Security training programs to the Response team through courses and workshops, ensuring that all Response Team Security staff are well-trained with weapons and basic tactics, incident responses and capable of performing their duties efficiently and safely.
Additionally, ensuring that other airport workers and stakeholders receive requisite security training and briefings in accordance with mandated international security standards, as required. It includes weapon training and assisting in the conduct of 6-monthly range shoots for Response Team personnel, continuous assessment and improvement of security training procedures and implementing various training methods and best practice to develop and enhance staff skills and performance.
All training must be compliant with the Regulatory requirements of ICAO Document 8973 Aviation Security, MOI ROE and the ICAA National Civil Aviation Security Training Program (NCASTP).
A solid knowledge of performance management tools, techniques, and utilizing ‘state of the art’ technology, is vital, along with the ability to forge relationships with peers and customers.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
a) Regulatory requirements: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all pertinent security regulations and standard operating procedures, the training requirements of the ICAO Document 8973 Security Manual, the ICAA National Civil Aviation Security Training Program (NCASTP) and the MOI Rules of Engagement.
b) Lesson Plans & Courses : Assist in the development, and then deliver comprehensive ground security Response training programs, including lesson plans, exercises and instructional materials for all identified training courses – specifically the core regulated security courses for a Response Team Security Officer (RSO), the supervisory and specialist courses for the experienced Response staff (RSS), incident management, Rules of Engagement and for all airport staff the General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) and customer service courses. Create and conduct training sessions on Response Team security protocols, procedures, and regulations.
c) Course Preparation & Delivery : Organize and prepare all courses to international standards, quality checked against stated learning objectives, then delivered in the national language of Iraq or, when required, in English. (Ensure all courses, lesson plans, examinations and power point presentations are written in Arabic and English).
d) On-Boarding Induction: Assist the HoS Security Training in the conduct of effective induction and orientation sessions for all new security hires.
e) Weapon Training: Deliver basic Weapon Training modules to Ground Security Staff including: the safety and operation of weapons, ammunition, marksmanship, dry shooting training, basic tactics and Rules of Engagement.
f) Range Shoots: Assist the HoS Response Team (QRF) (Range Conducting Officer), and Range Safety Officers in the conduct and supervision of the 6-monthly range shoots for all Response Team personnel.

Position: Wells QAQC Team Leader<br> Department: Wells<br> Location: Basra, Iraq<br> Duration: 12 months renewable<br> Rotation: 28/28<br> <strong>Role Synopsis <br> </strong><br> The QAQC Team Leader reports to the Well Engineering Manager. The role will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Wells QAQC team. The emphasis of this position is to ensure the growing demand for QAQC is met and managers are informed, along with the development of local workforce. This role is integral to our strategy of building and maintaining robust technical and management standards and furthering the commitment to advancing Iraq’s technical infrastructure and expertise to an international level of excellence.<br> <br> The functions to be managed by this position include but are not limited to: QAQC of local machine shops, all premium connections, make up and pressure testing of critical well components, fabrication and other sub-contractor systems and process, failure investigation for the contractor’s equipment, QMS audit for service suppliers, coordination of TPI’s and Support operational requirements where required. Technical evaluation of QAQC criteria for Wells related tenders.<br> <br> <strong>Key roles and responsibilities include:<br></strong><br> o Proactively Lead the QAQC Team by example with a strong commitment to HSSE, efficiency, practicality, and training of skillsets to Iraqi nationals.<br> o Help develop, implement and maintain the minimum standards for all Wells local and international contractors.<br> o Track and document QA Team and their daily activities and site visits including daily reporting.<br> o Manage and supervise local 3rd party inspection contractors during Drill Stem & BHA inspection (DS-1 cat 4 & 3-5).<br> o Manage the development of tiered multi-level QAQC check lists and verification tools.<br> o Ensure contractor delivery to international and contract standards by managing scheduled tiered multi-level field, facility and procedure & data QAQC audits.<br> o Schedule follow up reviews and tracking of QAQC action items to close.<br> o Manage and maintain NCR Log and close out actions with the Wells Team<br> o Perform trouble shooting, root cause analysis and incident investigation reports.<br> o Plan, deliver and assess periodic formal training on specialist subjects and quality control measures to Iraqi staff.<br> o Assign responsibilities and tasks to expat and national team members dependent on skill sets, experience, and knowledge.<br> o To liaise and facilitate feedback on QAQC and technical issues with the Wells department and PSCM managers.<br> o Review Tender documents for quality compliance.<br> o Arrange and facilitate contractor performance improvement meetings as and when required.<br> o To champion the application of new technology, international standards (API, ISO, IADC) and best practices as appropriate.<br> o Ensure on-going QAQC audits are tracked, reports are on T drive and actions are closed out.<br> o Review all QAQC reports and issue to relevant manager.<br> o Contract account manager (CAM) for local and international TPI contracts. This includes the coordination and management of these TPI contracts.<br> o Work closely with Integrity and Audit TLs to support the requirements of the Wells organisation.<br> o Technical focal point for OCTG, tubing refurbishment and local API machine shop contracts. Technical input to wellhead contracts.<br> o Coordinate and liaise with TPI teams (both local and international).<br> o Lead preparation and technical evaluation of QAQC criteria for Wells tenders. Experience working within Wells teams would be considered beneficial.<br> o Strong knowledge of QAQC and management systems.<br> o Strong knowledge of DS-1 and its implementation and use.<br> o Sound Knowledge of NDT processes and types. (MPI, UT, LPI etc)<br> o Strong knowledge of API standards and implementation.<br> o Familiar with surface wellhead systems. Strong knowledge preferred.<br> o IRCA lead auditor qualification.<br> o Excellent interpersonal skills.
