Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. + Directs a professional team encompassing a wide range of functions within the discipline: + Interviews, selects and places candidates into open positions within area of responsibility. + Evaluates staff, comparing objectives and achievements in the assessment. + Coaches employees in their professional career development and process improvements. + Issues discipline whenever required. + Ensures employees are informed of and use safe work practices. + Recommends termination or contract non-renewal when appropriate. + Directs a professional team encompassing a range of functions within the F&ES Services Department: + Manages the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) programs.
