<p>Overview ***This position is physically located in Iraq in support of LOGCAP*** Under the supervision of Fire Prevention Lead, the Fire Inspector p lans, organizes, and conducts fire prevention activities throughout to include fire inspections, fire investigations, public education, plan reviews, and fire protection system acceptance inspections. Assist implements the Fire Prevention Program to ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement, Army Regulation 420-1, DoDI 6055.06, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), policies, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Responsible for implementing and maintaining all fire protection services related functional standards within their assigned department IAW the Statement of Work. Implements the Fire Chief’s comprehensive firefighting program at the assigned installation to ensure compliance with AR 420-1, Army Facilities Management, Chapter 25, Fire and Emergency Services, Local work instructions, and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Guidelines.
