<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>This position is contingent upon customer approval, funding, and/or position availability.</p>
<p>The electrical supervisor will be based at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the operations and maintenance support services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for taking ownership of all facility electric and related projects to include maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and related O&M electrical projects. This position will report to the assistant O&M manager or designee. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.</p>
<h4>Duties:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li>
<li>Comply with all environmental health & safety and quality assurance requirements and goals.</li>
<li>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li>
<li>Perform work required for the repair, maintenance, installation and modernization of electrical systems for site building's equipment.</li>
<li>Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment.</li>
<li>Repair malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses, and replacing defective wiring, cleaning, repairing, or replacing motors.</li>
<li>Test electrical equipment such as motors, heaters and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and by observing functions.</li>
<li>Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment.</li>
<li>Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.</li>
<li>Report any malfunctions or lack of compliance with statement of work (SOW) to the assistant O&M manager.</li>
<li>Perform inspections and prepare written reports.</li>
<li>Maintain effective, timely, and respectful communication and interaction with other employees and manager and support other organizations.</li>
<li>Perform other administrative tasks when directed, including material ordering, inventory, work scheduling and report preparation.</li>
<li>Responsible for facility custodianship of work area and management of tools, equipment and spare parts for the electrical operation.</li>

<h4>Required:</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum acceptable experience level:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Two (2) years’ experience as a master electrician, ten (10) years’ experience as a journeyman electrician, or meet any state licensing board requirements for a master electrician license.</li>
<li>Five (5) years’ electrical experience in operations and maintenance services.</li>
<li>Three (3) years’ experience in an outside the continental United States (OCONUS) environment.</li>
<li>Experience working with SOW, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.</li>
<li>Current master electrician license (must hold prior to hire date or able to obtain a master electrician license within 180 days employment).</li>
<li>Previous supervisory experience.</li>

<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>

<h4>Working and living conditions:</h4>
<p>This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.</p></p><p></p>

<p>The Reporting Engineer position is within the Project Control Organization of the project reporting to the Planning & Reporting Manager.</p>
<h4>Job dimensions</h4>
<p>The Reporting Engineer is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting project performance data to support decision-making and ensure transparency across all phases of the CSSP project. The role contributes to the timely and accurate delivery of internal and external reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including HSE and risk-related metrics.</p>
<p>In addition, the Reporting Engineer is responsible for supporting project digitalization and information management initiatives, ensuring the effective governance, quality, accessibility, and integration of project information across all participating organizations. The position oversees the Information Management Assistant function and promotes the efficient use of digital collaboration platforms, reporting systems, document management tools, and data-sharing solutions to enhance project execution and stakeholder alignment.</p>

<p>Iraq Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) intends to provide treated seawater to the oil fields in southern Iraq (for injection). CSSP is composed of water pipelines which are part of Basra Oil Company (BOC) scope of work, and the Water Infrastructure Project (WIP), previously named STF (Seawater Treatment Facilities). The WIP will be located on the west side of the Khor Al Zubair, upstream of the port of Umm Qasr.</p>
<p>The major components of the WIP include seawater intake and outfall structures, material offloading facility, seawater clarification, filtration and deoxygenating processes, shipping pumps, a fuel gas pipeline, power generation, utilities and non-process.</p>
<p>The budget of the WIP is circa $3 billion.</p>
<p>The Reporting Engineer is expected to commence duties in the 3rd quarter of 2026 and will be based in Basra.</p>
