We provide total safety management support services on site, in areas of safety H2S, HSE, training, rental of safety equipment, service and maintenance of equipment. Job Description•          Conduct well site survey for offshore, onshore installations, prepare schematics of both gas detection and breathing air cascade system, Installation of fixed-point sensors, wireless gas detection based on client well plan.•          Supervise the H2S Unit / Container installation at the site and rig up/ setting up all necessary fixed or remote gas detection systems, alarms and ensure their safety aspects.•          Continuously monitor all the H2S equipment, the gas detection system and H2S alarm control panel on the site•          Maintain, Service and Testing of all in-house and client equipment to ensure they are in ready-to-go state.•          Trouble shoot, repair, test, and commission the full range of safety equipment in the field.•          Monitor and record H2S gas concentration on various activities such as Well Test Operations, Sour gas flaring, Coring, DST, TCP operations.•          Gas sampling such as H2S, LEL, CO2, SO2 and other gases if and as required.•          Conduct On site H2S Safety Induction, trainings, conduct emergency safety drills and ensure personnel proficiency in usage of the Breathing Equipment.•          Prepare site specific H2S induction training if required by Client.•          Participate safety meetings and toolbox talks.•          Participate in STOP card & NUHS programme•          Prepare Contingency Plans, Emergency Response Plan, Equipment maintenance report on equipment and internal audits.•          Discuss the observations and areas of improvements with onsite HSE and Company’s representatives.•          Conduct regular Simulated Drills (i.e.H2S Drills, Man Down Drill, Muster Drill as per Company’s guidelines and schedules.•          Supervise the emergency situations because of H2S release, provide recommendations to handle the situations and suggest the best practice methods to work under mask to control the situations for different operations e.g. well control etc.•          Prepare and submit the field Rutledge ISO reports on inspections, repairs, calibrations, testing, training records, inventories, drills etc. to Company representative and operations manager as required.•          Assist in confined space entry & gas testing.•          Prepare and submit the Customer Satisfaction Quality Questionnaire.Requirements·           Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.·        Preferable with 2-5 years working experience in the oil & gas industry or petrochemical facilities.·           Previous work experience as an offshore rig personnel such as electrical, drilling, mudlogging or safety is a definite advantage.·           Candidates without prior experience but have worked in drilling well sites or petrochemical facilities are welcome to apply.·           Able to stay at Client’s well sites for an extended duration.·           A positive attitude with good problem-solving skills, creativity, displaying initiative and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.·           Capable of representing Company before Clients and for business development.·           Bilingual in English and Arabic.

KBR is looking for a Contracts and Procurement Manager for an IFMS project to be based in Basra, Iraq for 28/28 rotation. <h4>Job responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Protects contractor company and thereby company from contractual risk by working in a process of continuous improvement to encourage and promote the introduction and implementation of best practice contracting methodology and practices.</li> <li>Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety and environment.</li> <li>Leads the contracting part of the organization through the senior contracts manager.</li> <li>Leads the procurement part of the organization through the procurement manager.</li> <li>Authorizes all procedures brought to incumbent by his subsections and is keen for improvements on these.</li> <li>Monitors the progress of work in both subsections.</li> <li>Special attention for the work executed on site by the senior subcontracts manager (site).</li> <li>Special attention for claims, variations towards company and contractor.</li> <li>Special attention for audits by company as well as internal audit results.</li> <li>Take responsibility for the contracting and procurement part of the agreement with company, including possible audits.</li> <li>Part of the contractor’s management team.</li> <li>Direct interface to companies contract and procurement leads.</li> <li>Be present and report in monthly meetings with company on progress, at risk areas (e.g. late delivery/claims etc.).</li> <li>Positively and constructively represents contractor mission and vision to all external contacts at all opportunities.</li> <li>Responsible for taking action to prevent damage to the health and safety of self, other people and/or property. Responsible for taking prompt and correct action when actual damage occurs.</li> <li>Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.</li> <li>Monitors and reviews overall department workload in relation to specific projects and makes appropriate assignments.</li> <li>Review and monitor issuance of request for quotation to the pre-qualified vendors for the bidding of various materials and equipment requirements of the projects.</li> <li>Review negotiation plan as basis of negotiation for shortlisted vendors and assist with negotiations as required.</li> <li>Review and as applicable approve commercial bid evaluation, award recommendation and purchase order including all necessary and applicable contract documents.</li> <li>Coordinate with projects and concerned parties with regard to status of delivery of equipment and materials.</li> <li>Monitor expediting of vendor with particular reference to document deliverables.</li> <li>Review accuracy of procurement status report and ensure follow up with specific projects.</li> <li>Liaises with project managers to address specific project issues.</li> <li>Ethically and respectfully builds and maintains effective working relationships.</li> </ul> <h4>Education, skills & experience</h4> Education BSc., university degree in any of the main legal, business, or engineering branches, i.e. mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical, or equivalent. Experience and skill set Preferably having worked as contractor’s employee for more than 2 years in a similar role in contracting and procurement. Total period of more than 10 years in a brownfield operation within a petrochemical/oil and gas environment or as a contracts manager (preferred) or procurement lead. Strong leadership and teambuilding skills. Supervisory experience.
