Lead by example.</li><li>Ensure Tool Box Talks are structured, recorded &amp; add value.</li><li>Embrace a one team culture.</li><li>Thorough understanding of Turnarounds and Maintenance to provide guidance for field execution of TAR scopes, including all types of fixed equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of pressure vessel repairs is preferable.</li><li>Ability to manage concurrent activities safely &amp; effectively and deconflict SIMOPS.</li><li>Ability to communicate well with other functions, including Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, Operations, Projects to deliver the plan.</li><li>Work with Operations to develop culture of best practice process isolation, de-pressuring, closed draining, flushing, purging, spading for consistency of safe equipment shutdown preparation &amp; support efficient de-isolation and re-commissioning.</li><li>Ensure vendors with required expertise, spares, products, consumables, scaffolding, vehicular and other enabling logistics are at the worksite when required.</li><li>Manage all aspects of TAR scope from start to finish including mobilisation to and de-mob from worksite.</li><li>Strictly in accordance with; good oilfield practice, ROO engineering standards, safety and quality processes and procedures.</li><li>Drive consistency in TAR preparation process using checklists and other tools to track readiness against agreed milestones.</li><li>Understand Security and Emergency Response rationale and mentor as appropriate.</li><li>Develop TAR execution schedule with Planner for effective delivery.</li><li>Working with procurement, ensure management of spares and materials.</li><li>Prioritise and identify long lead items in advance.</li><li>Management of contractor performance, monitoring and mentoring.</li><li>Detailed daily reporting.</li><li>Clear communication to back to back position through handovers pre / post field breaks.</li><li>Drive continuous improvements in efficiency and cost reduction of TAR delivery.</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility</strong></p><ul><li>Lead on-site team of Contractors</li><li>Site supervision of construction contractors for execution of pre-Tar and TAR activity, to plan</li><li>Safe execution of site activities</li><li>Ensure quality in construction execution</li><li>Input to site execution plan, helping to identify and mitigate any schedule risks</li><li>Identification of pre-TAR works</li><li>Interface between contractors, operations, Basra Oil Company (BOC) for site execution</li><li>Ensure materials availability at the work site in readiness for TAR execution</li><li>Ensure plant and equipment available and set up in readiness for TAR execution</li><li>Input to lessons learned</li></ul><p><strong>Work Contacts</strong></p><ul><li>Operations &amp; Maintenance</li><li>HSE Team</li><li>Contract Supervision</li><li>Project Function</li><li>Engineering</li><li>Integrity / Inspection teams</li><li>Planning Team</li><li>Procurement Coordinator</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Strong safety leadership</li><li>Self-driven, analytical and pragmatic behaviours</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Planned and organised approach</li><li>Experienced in Turnaround planning and execution</li><li>Knowledge of pressure vessel repairs and repair codes - preferable</li><li>Experienced in all aspects of Static Equipment repair and problem resolution.</li><li>Teamwork orientated</li><li>Working knowledge of local Labour Legislation and Laws is desirable</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Effort and Work Environment</strong></p><p>Duties performed at site with generally harsh climatic conditions.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>5+ years experience in Petrochemical or Oil and Gas maintenance &amp; engineering environment.</li><li>2+ years experience in Turnarounds</li><li>HNC qualification or higher in relevant technical discipline with strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.</li><li>Good knowledge of asset management system (CMMS) - preferable</li><li>Demonstrate a positive attitude and embrace clients charter values.</li><li>Foster good relationships and team working ethic with contractor groups to promote safe working practices and efficiency.</li><li>Experience of working in an integrated team from diverse locations required.</li><li>Experience of Safe Systems of Work.</li></ul><p></p></section>
