<h4>Job purpose</h4>
<p>The field doctor reports to the lead doctor and is responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of field medical services, including occupational health, emergency preparedness, and medical response activities. The role supports patient care activities in the field, including emergency and trauma response, while ensuring effective medical readiness and timely support for site operations. The field doctor also participates in HSE inspections, safety and health activities, and contributes to the implementation of occupational health and hygiene programs.</p>
<p>The position works closely with site management, HSE teams, and contractors to support medical coverage, emergency response capability, and overall workforce health and safety within the field environment.</p>
<h4>Duties and responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Implement the primary health care program for all personnel and deliver hygiene quality assurance on behalf of IFMS in the Majnoon Oil Field.</li>
<li>Ensure effective management of all medical operations in MFD for primary occupational health, emergency and trauma care.</li>
<li>Draft and maintain all procedures and health documentation for the IFMS function in line with international standards and local legislation.</li>
<li>Ensure effective implementation of health requirements in MFD for both staff and contractors.</li>
<li>Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the field procedures and ensure sufficient manpower utilization for work execution.</li>
<li>Ensure GLMS systems are maintained with up-to-date FTW information.</li>
<li>Follow up on HRA with SMEs and relevant parties to ensure that all control measures are implemented, maintained, and reviewed periodically.</li>
<li>Implement an FTW program by giving the required advice and ensure that all employees in the field are physically and mentally fit for their work requirements and support business based on outcomes of fitness to work assessment plan.</li>
<li>Set and implement the RTW policy in accordance with IFMS standards and local legislation and provide the required support to all staff and contractors.</li>
<li>Provide guidance and enable the emergency and occupational health training for medical staff and other BOC assignees as well as medical service providers.</li>
<li>Support the implementation of the Facilities HACCP program within the field through monthly inspections and follow-up of actions for both facilities and contractors.</li>
<li>Ensure continuous communication internally with departments, external clients, government, and private health institutes to provide effective support for the business.</li>
<li>Ensure the effective implementation of MERP including bridging requirements for contractors.</li>
<li>Effectively coordinate MEDIVAC procedures with insurance companies, ER companies, and management.</li>
<li>Follow up MEDIVAC cases ensuring all medical aspects are well covered, followed, and closed.</li>
<li>Manage all aspects of third-party medical services.</li>
<li>Implement and update a medical case action tracker to ensure effective close out of all cases.</li>

<h4>Qualification & training requirements</h4>

<li>Experience in medical operations, emergency response support, healthcare administration, or related activities, preferably in industrial or remote-site environments.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety requirements, with experience supporting food safety and health compliance activities being an advantage.</li>
<li>Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of emergency and occupational health and hygiene including HRAs, FTW & FTR, HACCP, water and food safety, communicable disease and preventive medicine, employee support, ergonomic quick scan, health system management, external and internal communications, contractor management, emergencies and MERP management as well as expert in providing health advice and services.</li>
