<p>The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for providing medical oversight, direction, and leadership to the medical staff regarding all areas of healthcare for the project. They also provide on-site medical support and healthcare services to the client and customer work force that is comprised of US Government personnel, US nationals, foreign nationals, local/host country national employees, and a small group of Iraq military personnel at an Iraqi military base. Oversee, supervise and manage the operation of all medical services, including overall supervision of all medical personnel. Provides leadership, oversight, and accountability for the operational effectiveness of medical services delivered on project. Leads quality development and clinical governance agendas including maintaining Code of Conduct of medical practice, medical record keeping, infection control standards, emergency response. preparedness, medical staff, and patient safety at the facility. Serves as the chair of the Medical Executive Committee (MEC) which meets monthly. Ensures that meeting minutes are written and uploaded to Share Point. Provides oversight of other committees of the facility (e.g. Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Credential and Privileging, Peer Review, Infection Control). Ensure that the committees report regularly to the MEC. Ensures that monthly routine peer review of medical charts is performed, and peer review results are uploaded to Share Point. Ensures that all Focus Professional Practice Evaluations (FPPE) and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) are current. Provides direction, as appropriate to clinical case management including patient movements and referral off island in close collaboration with insurance companies and company medevac providers. Works closely with the other leaders supporting the ROBR2 project to ensure business continuity from a medical aspect. Promotes International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. Standard Operating Procedures and Protocols. Supervises all healthcare providers including physicians, surgeons, mid-level providers and dentist. Provides strategic direction for medical staff and physician services programs to meet short- and longterm goals. <p><h4>Duties</h4>
<p>Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.<br>
Ensure Property Department compliance with Property Management and Control Procedures.<br>
Conduct random compliance audits on all sites and departments in Iraq.<br>
Develop and execute corrective action plans for audit deficiencies and inventory accountable property.<br>
Mentor lower-level Property Staff and custodians in proper process and procedures as they relate to Government Property.<br>
Identify problem areas and recommend viable solutions.<br>
Perform physical inventories of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), as directed by the Property Management and Control Procedures and/or the Logistics and Property Manager.<br>
Ensure Government Property Identification numbers (GP) are properly assigned, prepare required schedule, and assist with identifying lost, damaged, and destroyed property as well as excessive consumption.<br>
Work closely with Property Custodians to ensure overall accountability of assets.<br>
Track and record movement of all types of Government property. This includes movement from one point to another within a contractor’s facility, movement between facilities for any purpose, and protection during movement.<br>
Conduct country-wide Property Training on a yearly basis as well as establish training plans for new hire employees and refresher training.<br>
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Statement of Work (SOW), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).<br>
Develop processes and desktop procedures to maintain continuity of job performance.<br>
Audit logs and status records to ensure completion of lost, damaged, or destroyed items.<br>
Check LTDD packages for accuracy and completion.<br>
Perform additional duties and projects as qualified to perform as assigned.<br>
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.<br>
Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.</p>
<h4>Required</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum acceptable experience level:</strong> Five years’ experience with overseas Government contracts. Department of State contracts strongly preferred.</p>

Knowledge of FAR and industry leading practices regarding government property.<br>
Ability to clearly and concisely articulate services and requirements in writing.<br>

Understanding how inventory affects compensation.<br>

<p><strong>Education:</strong><br>
An undergraduate degree is preferred but can be replaced with additional years of Government Property Administration experience.</p>
<p><strong>Licenses and certifications:</strong><br>
Valid driver’s license from home of record.<br>
NPMA Certification or ability to obtain within one year.</p>
<p><strong>Security vetting:</strong><br>
Possessing a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification prior to being hired is required.</p>
<p><strong>Language skills:</strong><br>
Sufficient English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.</p>
<p><strong>Medical:</strong><br>
Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required for deployment. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.</p>
<h4>Desired</h4>

<p>This position may be in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions.
